no.nu. the simple abbreviation of
no-new, that “nothing new” that has pushed the skilled hands of its creator to
search for stimuli everywhere but especially in nature, in its play of colors,
shapes and beauties that sometimes risk remaining unobserved or even being
forgotten.
The flower is the trigger of the brand's
history, and in particular the frangipani flower because it is fragile and
determined at the same time. A flower that through that gentle rigor and that
determined fragility, has stimulated the mind of the designer so much as to
become almost a continuous “muse” for all the collections. The color, the
scent, the magic of uncontaminated and ideal landscapes, landscapes in which to
express the sensuality, rigor and luxury of a modern woman have so influenced
the work of the designer as to make the flower the most recurrent and
recognizable element of the brand. Interpreted every time in a sublime way,
this element of nature is constantly proposed in different ways and images,
detailed, colorful and always contemporary and innovative.
Rajan Tolomei is the mind of the brand. A mind
that is able to expertly combine every type of raw material, raw and
semi-processed, precious or not, with the artistic ability to match colors in a
unique and exclusive way. All this, in a short time has made no.nu. an Italian
brand that stands out for its originality and personality.
"Each of us wants exclusivity, personality
and practical uniqueness" says the designer. This is why in
creating his collections he thinks about the importance of a great artisan and
highly manual imprint, the need to artistically create what distinguishes and
makes each individual article a luxurious and exclusive artifact.
"Fashion is urban,
practical, simple, luxurious, detailed, imaginative, rigorous, sublime,
frivolous and also in a certain sense without canons and boundaries". This
is why I wanted to create a woman who could express why or how one dresses that
way. The when and where. Harmony with the moment and with one’s body is what
influences every creation. Femininity is the translation of a careful
observation of the world in general with a special and unique focus on the
female world, a rich and exciting world, a world full of energy and uniqueness.
“I simply wish no.nu. was able to make every
woman exclusive, luxurious and, at the same time, extremely practical and
feminine, but above all satisfied with her own philosophy of dressing” says
Rajan with extreme simplicity and continues…. “since 2019, the meeting with
Alioscia Mussi and the consequent four-handed creation, has given new life and
a new soul to no.nu. which today is a brand in progress and with a unique and
undisputed energy”.
THE DESIGNERS

RAJAN TOLOMEI
Rajan Tolomei was born and lives in Canada to Italian parents.
From Canada he moved first to Tuscany and then to Milan, where he worked as a model for about 15 years until, after traveling all over the world and working with all the greatest stylists for fashion shows, campaigns and commercials, he decided to undertake the bizarre adventure of a make-up artist for fun.
From a colorful game, make-up became his main and exclusive activity so much so that after a few years he became responsible for the Giorgio Armani Cosmetics line, created world-famous advertising campaigns, participated in the Victoria's Secret show in Paris creating an unforgettable femininity. He then reached an indisputable goal when Max Factor chose him as an ambassador and even made him the protagonist in a famous world campaign with Gwyneth Paltrow.
Models and famous people love the skilled hands of Rajan Tolomei who, stands out for his luxurious and delicately haughty style - as he himself says - and is chosen by stylists, top models, actresses and singers as an image creator for their famous faces.
But something clicks in the mind of this artist in 2008 and by stating that, in addition to makeup and hair, women can create their beauty in harmony with the way they dress and accessorize, he creates no.nu. a line of women's clothing and accessories that also achieves his success as a designer and look-maker. In 2019, the meeting with ALIOSCIA MUSSI gives new soul to no.nu. making the line even more creative and full of personality.
In 2023, from the minds of these two professionals, PARFUM COUTURE is born, a line of artistic perfumes that, conceived and created by four hands, combines art and professionalism, but above all transforms the dream into a great reality.

ALIOSCIA MUSSI
Alioscia Mussi was born in Crema to Italian parents.
From a detailed and international education Alioscia begins his career in Italy, where he immediately stands out for his great skills and his masterful manual ability.
In a very short time he was identified as one of the most competent make-up artists and consultants on the market, so much so that he was noticed by one of the largest international fashion houses that absolutely wanted him on its staff.
He thus became a DIOR AMBASSOR and in a few years he also won the WORLD AWARD as the best make-up artist in the world.
Protagonist of global campaigns and backstage, Alioscia embarked on a great international career. He dedicated himself for more than a year to the creation of images for a global project for VOGUE ITALIA that saw him as the absolute protagonist alongside ROGER CORONA, a photographer recognized for his skills and his absolute creativity.
In 2015 another important stage presented itself on Alioscia's path, who became the senior protagonist of a television program on the national network and proclaimed him as the most sought-after and desired celebrity make-up artist.
In 2019, together with Rajan Tolomei, they took over the reins of the no.nu. line, giving new life to the no.nu. brand and its creations.
“Some encounters happen by chance… then you discover that you needed them… then you discover that it wasn’t a coincidence” says Alioscia when, in 2023, the two designers give life to the PARFUM COUTURE line, a line of artistic perfumes with a luxurious and extremely contemporary identity.
